Just a few updated pictures from our first week alone at home... well, not really alone because we had lots of visitors and some lunch dates with friends, but our first week of not having our family here at night/early morning to help!! Proud to say we SURVIVED!!
Garrison turned 2 weeks old on Tuesday, he is now 7 lbs. 3 oz and is 21 inches long, he is growing so fast, so bittersweet for his mom and dad ;-)
Don't Eat the Moose is a long long story, but a good one between some of our friends, so Patrick found these adorable pj's at Walmart the other day so he had to get them ...
So...
Don't Eat the Moose!!
Look at those feet... ;-)
and of course, his two week photo shoot, you have no idea how hard it is to photograph a 2 week old, he doesn't understand what "say Cheese" means ;-) frustrating to say the least!!

Finally Garrison has ARRIVED!!!
After a long long wait, Garrison Thomas Rose has finally arrived!! Born August 11th at 11:21 am, 6 lbs 14 oz, 19.5 inches long and perfect in every way!! I'm sure everyone knows of the drama that was a part of his arrival so I'll save those details and if you don't then I'm happy to fill you in, just email me for the dissertation ;-) !! It was a struggle but SO SO worth it... Garrison is doing great and is gaining weight back and his jaundice is getting much better as well. I'm recovering from my c-section and feeling more human, minus the lack of sleep!! We have been a bit overwhelmed to say the least but we are totally in love. He is just precious and such a blessing! Here are just a few of the 1000 pictures that have been taken over the past 5 days!!
We are so thankful for all our friends and family who have been here and called to support us and we can't wait for you all to meet him!!
